Priority Registration

General registrations open on February 13! Please note almost all of our winter classes sold out with long wait lists. Please be sure to register sooner rather then later to avoid disappointment!

New Prenatal Program for Spring! Bump and Groove!

Keep active and feel great throughout your pregnancy! Mamas will move through intervals of strength and toning exercises and high energy, easy to follow dance cardio segments that will safely work the entire body! Perfect for those 13 weeks+!

CATS Ticket Giveaway!

CATS - The show that revolutionized musical theatre is coming to the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton for seven performances on February 22 – 26, 2012. We have 7 pairs of tickets to give away to the February 22 performance!

To enter reply to this email with your family's favourite song, story, movie or poem that features, a CAT! Draw will happen on February 16. Tickets must be picked up at the J'Adore Dance studio by 5pm on February 21.

We Made It!

What started with four postnatal dance classes a week and a living room for an office has become a vibrant studio community offering over 50 classes per week! We couldn't have done it without the support of our clients!

Congratulations Liesa!

We have some very exciting news to announce! Liesa McKay our wonderful Studio Manager/Instructor is expecting a baby in early June 2012! Liesa will be taking a break over the summer and rejoining us with her little one for the Fall!

As Liesa's health is our #1 priority we have made an adjustment to the Winter evening adult schedule. No longer able to teach 2 adult classes back to back, Liesa's Monday Balletone has been moved to Thursdays from 6:45-7:45pm.

New Programs for Winter Session!

We are excited to be offering 4 NEW programs during our winter session!

Pump and Groove Mama:Take your postnatal work out to the MAX! With babies cuddled safely in a babycarrier, Mamas will move through intervals of strength and toning exercises and high energy, easy to follow dance cardio segments that will safely work the entire body!

Turbo Kick: Sure, it’s kickboxing, but it’s so much more! You’ll kick, punch, dance, and groove your way to a brand new body in this action-packed, super fun, super safe, and effective cardiovascular workout.

Fusion Vibe: Build strength, balance and flexibility with a unique twist using Latin, Jazz, and Belly Dance fused with pilates and yoga to create a one of kind body/mind workout on the mat.

Fiesta Kids: Designed for ages 6-10 Latin rhythms and world beats will get kids movin' and shakin'. Exploring a variety of world cultures, kids will learn basic dance steps and instrumentation.

Free Classes for the Food Bank

Once again J'Adore Dance is happy to offer a free week of classes September 5-9 in support of the Edmonton Food Bank! Last year we raised over 500 lbs of food, this year we'd like to raise 1000 lbs! Help us break our record! For more details please view the Free Class Week Schedule.

New Choreography Classes for Fall

Are you wanting to learn some fabulous routines, while working on learning dance technique and style, with two of Edmonton's BEST dance instructors?

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Contemporary with Jodie Vandekerkhove of Mile Zero Dance company and Hip Hop with Asha Marshal of the Fly Girlz!

Both these teachers are masters of their craft with years of teaching and performing experience! No previous experience necessary!

Summer is here, and Monday, July 11 marks the beginning of our Summer Session, which runs through August 19. We have great selection of classes available - check out our schedule for more information!

We understand your schedule might not always allow you to commit to a full class registration so we are now happy to provide you with the following drop in options:

Single Drop in: $18/class
10 Class Pass: $150 for 10 classes

To purchase a pass please visit us at the J'Adore Dance Studio (please note drop in passes are only valid at the Lendrum location).

*Drop in spots are available on a first come, first served basis. Make sure you come early to secure your spot!

Baby Massage Workshop

Wednesday, May 4, 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Sooth your baby and increase your bond through loving touch. Join Ladine Irving-Martin, RMT as she leads us through a one hour workshop on the benefits of infant massage and introduces caregivers to some basic infant massage techniques. As a mom of 4 herself (2 elementary aged children, and twin preschoolers at home), Ladine understand first hands the challenges and joys of motherhood.

Please bring a blanket for your baby to lay on. Yoga mats will be provided by J'Adore Dance for extra baby comfort.

Baby Brain Play Workshop

Wednesday, May 18, 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Join developmental movement educator, Jessica Baudin-Griffin, as she explains and explores the 8 fundamental movement patterns that all babies move through in the first 12 months of life through interactive rhymes, songs, and movement activities. As a mother of two young children, Jessica appreciates simple yet engaging activities that can be done at home, in the car, or at the grocery store!

Suitable for parents/caregivers with babies 4 week-12 months.
